Version 1.2 (999 Nights) runs from July 8 to approximately August 19, 2026. This guide covers the complete F2P pull income for the full patch, based on community-compiled data confirmed as of July 31, 2026 (all 1.2 events now live).

NTE’s pull system uses Annulith as its primary banner currency, supplemented by Fabricated Dice (premium pulls), Solid Dice (standard pulls), and Tri-Keys (Arc/weapon banner currency). Understanding how much of each you earn per patch determines whether you can guarantee a limited character without spending.

How the Pull System Works

NTE does not use a 50/50 system. The limited banner operates on a guaranteed basis: the first S-Class character you reach pity on a limited banner is guaranteed to be the featured character. There is no coin-flip loss that resets your pity.

The hard pity cap is 100 pulls, with a soft pity starting around pull 75 that increases the S-Class drop rate. Community data puts the average pull count per S-Class character at approximately 53–75 pulls, depending on luck. The community consensus from the 1.2 income thread is that a fully F2P player earning all available income can guarantee one limited character per patch, with enough left over to make progress toward a second.

Version 1.2 F2P Income Sources

The following table covers the confirmed income sources for a fully F2P player completing all available content in Version 1.2. Numbers are based on community tracking data finalized as of July 31, 2026 (all 1.2 events confirmed live on CN server).

Primary Pull Currency (Annulith)

SourceAnnulithNotes

Estimated Total Annulith~3,850+Full F2P, all content completed

Fabricated Dice (Premium Pulls)

Fabricated Dice are the premium pull currency and function identically to Annulith on the limited banner. Sources include:

SourceFabricated Dice
Monthly login bonus (15-day streak)20
Hunter Level milestonesVaries
Achievement milestonesVaries
Special events and compensation mailVaries

Note: The 2,200 Annulith compensation mail (1,600 Appreciation Gift + 300 Maintenance + 300 Bug Fix) was distributed to all players who created a character before the end of Version 1.2. Check your in-game mailbox if you have not claimed it.

Tri-Keys (Arc/Weapon Banner)

Tri-Keys are used exclusively on the Arc (weapon) banner. Version 1.2 distributes approximately 60 Tri-Keys from all sources combined, which is enough to guarantee one S-Class Arc at the 60-key pity cap.

Can F2P Players Guarantee One Character Per Patch?

Based on community data from the 1.2 income tracker thread:

ScenarioPulls AvailableOutcome
Full F2P (all content, all codes)~79+ Fabricated Dice equivalentGuarantees 1 S-Class character (hard pity 100, average ~53–75)
F2P + $5/month Monthly Pass~90–100Guarantees 1 character with buffer
F2P + $5 Battle Pass~90–100Guarantees 1 character with buffer
Skipped previous patch (carried pity)VariesCan potentially guarantee 2 characters

The community consensus is that a fully F2P player who completes all content can guarantee one limited S-Class character per patch, with the average player needing 53–75 pulls and the hard pity safety net at 100. NTE’s no-50/50 system means every pull counts toward the guaranteed outcome, unlike games where a 50/50 loss resets progress.

For comparison, community members in the income thread noted this is comparable to or better than Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves on a per-patch basis, with the significant advantage of no 50/50 mechanic.

Gold Chess Pieces (Additional Pulls)

An often-overlooked income source is Gold Chess Pieces, which are earned from duplicate S-Class characters and certain board rewards. These can be exchanged for additional Fabricated Dice. Players who pull duplicates or have been playing since launch may have accumulated a meaningful number of these. Check the exchange shop in the gacha menu.

Weekly Safes (Bonus Annulith)

There are safes at specific locations on the map that reset weekly and contain Annulith and other materials. These are not tracked in the main income breakdown but add a small consistent bonus for players who know the locations. Search “NTE weekly safe locations” on YouTube for video guides showing all locations.

Maximizing Your Pull Budget

Redeem all active codes. As of July 31, 2026, the following codes are confirmed working and give Annulith directly:

CodeAnnulithOther Rewards
DREAMWALK06031005x Rising Hunter Guide, 5x Light Dye, 4,000 Beetle Coins
TOMATO1001005x Senior Hunter Guide, 5x Colorless Dye, 6,000 Beetle Coins
RACENOLIMIT1002x Elite Hunter Guide, 2x Chaotic Dye, 12,000 Beetle Coins
NTEGIFT505x Rising Hunter Guide, 5x Colourless Dye

Complete all event challenges. Events are the single largest variable in F2P income. Missing an event entirely can cost 100–200 Annulith. The current active events (Beyond the Rails: Cresting Circle, Going Going Gone, Pixel Surge) all offer Annulith rewards.

Do not skip daily and weekly missions. At ~20 Annulith per day from dailies, missing a week costs roughly 140 Annulith — nearly 3 pulls.
