Farming Fons (the primary in-game currency) is a constant struggle in Neverness to Everness. While the game offers multiple hobbies and activities to spend your City Stamina on, the community has recently discovered a massive time-saving trick within the Owner’s Selection minigame.

If you are looking for the absolute fastest way to convert your City Stamina into Fons, this is currently the best method available.

The Owner’s Selection “Early Quit” Trick

Normally, Owner’s Selection requires you to complete a full shift of serving customers, which can take a couple of minutes per run. However, the game calculates your rewards based on the star rating you achieve, not the total time spent in the minigame.

The Exploit: You can manually quit the minigame the exact moment you reach a 3-Star rating, and the game will still award you the full Fons payout for that run.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Start Owner’s Selection: Enter the cafe management minigame as usual.
  2. Serve Customers Rapidly: Focus on clearing orders as quickly as possible. If you have “Cafe Meta” characters (characters with traits that boost cafe efficiency), use them.
  3. Watch the Star Meter: Keep your eyes on the rating bar at the top of the screen.
  4. Quit Immediately at 3 Stars: The second the meter hits 3 Stars, open the menu and select “Quit” or “Exit.”
  5. Collect Rewards: The results screen will pop up, awarding you the full 3-Star payout.

The Math: Why This is the Best Method

By using this trick, a standard run takes between 30 to 45 seconds, depending on your roster and reaction time.

  • Time per run: ~40 seconds
  • Reward: 16,000 Fons
  • Efficiency: ~24,000 Fons per minute

Compared to fishing or standard racing, this method drastically reduces the real-world time required to burn through your daily City Stamina cap.

Is this a Bug?

Currently, it is unclear if Hotta Studio intended for players to be able to quit early and keep rewards, or if this is an oversight in how the minigame handles early exits. It has not been patched in the June 11 Hotfix, but it is highly recommended to take advantage of this farming method while it lasts.
